Edit the Web!
Mozile (Mozilla Inline Editor) is a context-sensitive XHTML editor that allows you to edit web pages from the comfort of your own browser. It can act as the client-side of a content-editing system or as a self-contained "web word processor". See how easy it is to start editing...
What You See Is What You Edit!
Click in here and see that this <div> is editable inline in Firefox. To see the cursor press F7. The toolbar appears by itself.
- Use the keyboard and toolbar to delete and insert text,
- then style it,
- add links and images
, - ... everything that you would expect in an inline editor.
To use Mozile all you need is one of these free state-of-the-art browsers:
- Firefox 1.0.4+ (1.5+ or 2.0+ recommended)
- Seamonkey 1.0+
- Mozilla Suite 1.7.11+ (Seamonkey 1.0+ recommended)
Of course, there's still work to be done. How can you help to make Mozile better?
- You can contribute code, tests, or documentation.
- You can find a bug and report it.
Mozile is open source software, available under the same triple license that Mozilla is: MPL 1.1 / GPL 2.0 / LGPL 2.1. For the full terms see the Mozile 0.7 license.
